Le chanson de guerrier éco

Ce paradis de la nature, pas de la terre de personne. Piétiné et brûlé, violé.
La jungle se défend - montagnes, rivières et cascades
Siècles témoignent de la vérité, la forêt encore se gagne.

This paradise of wild, no man's land. Trampled and burnt, invaded.
The jungle fights back - mountains, rivers and waterfalls
Centuries bear witness to the truth, the wilderness still rule.

    1. It's a break from what I love, so it is rather difficult to enjoy. I created an excuse to practice French to fool myself back into the loop!

I really really enjoyed your silo, Grace.

  5. Ninot Ma'am,
It can never be better expressed knowing how a jungle is. I was in Jengka for 2 years and acknowledge the reality given here and I enjoyed all the goodness. Great!

  6. Wonderful invocation of the struggle between nature and man, and how time finds the natural world to nearly always win out.

  7. I think of the oil companies in South America...yet the Amazon is going strong in spite of forests being cut..at least is seems vast still to me ...very pretty in French or Spanish or Italian;)

    1. I am glad Katy that the Amazon comes to mind. That is powerful. Our own forest in Malaysia is estimated to be 1000000 years old. A true heritage indeed. And I often think to myself, if it could survive and witness 1 million years, it would survive irresponsible humans.

    1. How true, Claudia. Why is this simple common sense so hard to live by?

  10. ..powerful Ninot... how can we escape from the visible truth? from the many of our ignorant deforestation? ah, i can only sigh...

    1. I am okay.

You are right, Kelvin, we still see irresponsible deforestation. Awareness and exposure is key.

  11. I think you wrote a powerful Sijo, Ninot. It reminded me of a couple of things, the first was the TV show "Life After People". The second was the BP spill in the Gulf of Mexico and how devastating that has been. I love the idea of nature fighting back. I think Frank Herbert would approve.

    1. Now that, Heidi, is the ultimate compliment. I adore Frank Herbert and in my own way, work hard to recreate worlds - be it an ancient kingdom in my case.

    2. By the way, I was thinking of Life After People too!

    1. Likewise, Björn. But we have to fight it and give Mother Earth every encouragement.

  13. I really like your message here, ninotaziz. I was having a conversation earlier today about how nature must be listened to. The Earth always communicates with us.

  14. The more of us talk about this Lila, the more conscience will be raised. Hopefully the corporate big guns will listen to their daughters, sons, friends - inner voice and reverse the trend of plundering the earth.
