la vérité

la vérité
pour vous, pour moi
pour Joe qui tend à la bière

n'est jamais la même

***

the truth
for you, for me
for Joe who tends the bar

is never the same

    1. Thanks Katy, I can figure out some of your Spanish. I think while we enjoy the novelty of other languages, we are (at least I am) most familiar with English. I love Hugo too, for an additional reason that I believe he did love the pantoun which originated from the Malay language. Even more so, his poetry is divine.
